International professional with 40 years' experience in the management of strategic complexity; project, team and senior management, mostly in the non-profit sector. Highly experienced as a manager and management consultant in environmental, development and humanitarian programmes, policy and strategy development, process redesign, organisational change and development, and performance management.

An acknowledged expert in organisational performance and evaluation, and manager and leader of more than 50 organisational management reviews and humanitarian and development evaluations. Humanitarian auditor of international NGOs. Skilled facilitator, able to develop consensus in multi-stakeholder consultation processes at senior level. Trained mediator. Former UN official at senior coordinator and senior adviser level.

Short and long-term work experience in more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, Middle East and Latin America. Well-developed cross-cultural understanding and highly developed communications skills in public speaking, presentation and report writing. Working experience with governments, United Nations organisations, NGOs, the Red Cross Red Crescent, academia and in the private sector. Experience as a charity trustee and Chair, well versed in charity governance.
